Lost Winds Brewery @ Casa Romantica

On August 4th, Lost Winds Brewery visited Casa Romantica, with co-owners Tim Burke and Andrew Mack, where they served up their delicious 'Tropiclemente IPA', packed with mango and passion fruit aromas, along with their 'San Clemente Session Ale', a lightly hopped, straw-colored Saison with clove and citrus-fruit esters.

The opening of Drift Distillery has been a long time coming. More than 20 years ago, while Ryan and Lesli Winter were still engaged, they visited San Clemente. “One day, we were sitting on the pier, eating lunch and talking and we were like, we gotta move here,” recalls Ryan.

Big Vision With a Small Focus

In 2009, Shannin and Paul Pickle, along with their two children Corrinne and Ashton, took a trip to Tanzania, Africa to start Small Steps for Compassion. Small Steps for Compassion is an organization dedicated to empowering individuals to transform their community through compassionate action. Currently, this vision is being fulfilled through two channels: a girls home and a school.
