Courtney’s SandCastle Joins ‘Fun on the Run’ 
bringing learning program for special needs children

Courtney's SandCastle Charitable Foundation proudly joined with 'Fun on the Run' on June 17 to bring gardening and sensory art to 
special needs children and their siblings, run by 'Special Fishies.' The children enjoyed painting their own planters, digging and planting, 
along with sensory fun activities and games.

Rick J. Delanty’s Annual Open Home 
Studio & Gallery Exhibition

On June 3-4, Rick J. Delanty opened his home to the public for his 21st annual art exhibition and sale, featuring original paintings 
of San Clemente and the California coastline. The event featured wine, good food, and fantastic artwork, with partial proceeds to 
benefit Family Assistance Ministries.

Coalition to Save San Clemente (CSSC) has 
established a political action committee (PAC)

CSSC held its first fundraising event on Thursday, May 25, at Bella Collina San Clemente, to oppose proposals for toll roads through San Clemente. Dan Bane, an environmental attorney, has been working with Eva O’Keefe, a local activist who is helping to champion an effort to oppose the toll roads.
