Inspired by the infinite beauty of the earth and our desire to preserve and protect it, we compiled an array of eco-conscious and eco-friendly people and places making a difference right here in Midlothian, Richmond and beyond.
From sophisticated farm-to-table dining to knowledgeable eco-bloggers, this issue is a celebration of all things Mother Nature. Throughout this issue, you will meet Paige Healy and Gregorio Spinzo, the husband-and-wife team behind the Dinner in the Field concept. Their support of local farmers along with their passion for Southern Italian cuisine brings such a unique culinary experience to our area. There is also Elizabeth Farner, a local middle school counselor who is on a mission to help others discover how to live a zero-waste lifestyle.
Whether or not you have a green thumb, we hope the stories in these pages invoke feelings of gratitude for the wonderful world we live in—and the wonderful people in our community who strive to sustain it.
Not sure where to start with your own eco-plan?When you have finished enjoying this issue, we encourage you to recycle it so it can be turned into future magazines. After all, that is what makes the world go ’round.
Happy spring, y’all!
