Hot Metal, Cold Brews

In Loveland’s history of artistic expression, the medium of metal holds strong. Whether cast in bronze, blacksmithed in iron or carefully created in gold or silver, the work of many Loveland artists takes form from hot metal. Join the University of Wyoming art department as they pour iron for museum visitors. Enjoy locally crafted beer and food during this fall-welcoming beer garden event Sept 27, 5-8 p.m., at the Loveland Museum/Gallery (503 N. Lincoln Ave.). Admission is free.

Stillwater Derby

Come enjoy an evening of fun and fundraising to support veterans, first responders and their families. Beloved Derby traditions will be in play—hats and bow-ties, mint juleps, horse “racing” and a whole lot more. Stillwater Ranch is passionate about connecting people with horses in a nontraditional way to heal trauma, benefiting individuals, families and communities. All proceeds from this event go directly back into programs to benefit those suffering from trauma. The event will be held Sept. 14, 5-9 p.m. at Stillwater Ranch (8511 Coyote Run, Loveland). StillwaterRanch.org
