This course in Irmo covers kitchen safety basics; proper food storage; cooking basics (baking, broiling, sauteing and grilling); healthy substitutions; spices and condiments for flavor; how to cook for one or groups; time-saving meal planning tricks; grocery list preparation checklists and healthy “fast food” meals on-the-go. The fee is $250 per student, and one adult can attend free with each student.
