Winter—bountiful bliss for some, abominable bane for others. Since winter is the harbinger of holiday happiness, you may as well resign yourself to both the fluff and slush of it. Just remember to give yourself a snow day for a little self-care amidst the chaos. Disregard the weather’s discomfort with itself and take in the sights and sounds of the holidays anew this year. The purpose of new perspective is solidly sweet.

Let’s just say, “Hello.” Amber Dinh from Facing Homelessness owns an unwavering belief in the humanity routinely ignored by many—the unhoused population. She’s as pretty inside as she is outside, and she’s on a mission.

Let’s look at our options. The Outlets at Castle Rock have sifted through some pretty snazzy things to arrive at some cream-of-the-crop gift offerings. Read and shop now before our Holiday Gift Guide is one for the books.

Let’s just listen. The Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra just ushered in its 20th season and is absolutely on fire. Check out “A Very Cherry Christmas,” the LTSO’s joint effort with the Cherry Creek Chorale that promises to spawn those sparkly holiday feelings.

Let’s dress up our doors. The Emporium of Castle Rock lends its unique sense of holiday style to these enviable entryways. These beautifully eclectic pieces liven up the drab and cheer the soul. Decoration is delectable. We punctuate this year, but we pick up again next month to continue our delight in serving those in Castle Rock, Larkspur and Castle Pines.

Happiest of holidays!
